Hidden Canyon Lodge

My wife and I returned for a second year to the wonderful Hidden Canyon Lodge and it was as amazing as I remembered. Maddie and team do a great job anticipating your needs and making everything comfortable. The food is amazing and there is so much to eat. It’s a perfect spot to spend the nights and evenings while heading out during the days to fly fish the mighty Mo’!

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars we would. Hidden Canyon Lodge and its people exceed all expectations. We have been fortunate to be their guests for several years. It only gets better. The accommodations are tucked into in a small canyon along the river, the food is excellent and their people are truly amazing and make all the difference.It is often booked years in advance so always have another reservation when you leave. A testament to their excellence.

After 5 years of annual trips to Hidden Canyon Lodge, I feel like I’m the luckiest person around to have found this bit of heaven. Hidden Canyon Lodge is first and foremost the best located lodge in the Missouri. Sitting on the river and across from Mountain Palace, guests cannot ask for more. Accommodations at HCL are top notch. Comfortable, well designed and maintained, and full of details that make this lodge feel like home. Heated bathroom floors! Yes, please. Finally, the staff are now family. Maddie, Kelsey, and the team know your name almost immediately, and their service cannot be matched. Fly fishing guides from the area even speak fondly of this staff and regularly send best wishes to them following a day on the river. If you are looking for a phenomenal resort, on the best location of one of the world’s best fisheries, and with an unmatched staff, this is it. There are more expensive lodges, but money won’t buy better than this.

Been coming to HCL for 6 years now and always have an amazing time. The staff is incredibly friendly, food is excellent and they really treat you like family. Can't wait to come back next year!

This quaint little lodge delivers! From the street you can’t tell what an over-the-top punch this place packs. If I could give them 10 stars (especially for service) I would. Madi and her team treat you like family while you’re here. From the comfortable bed to the heated bathroom floors to the top-notch meals and cocktails, they have created quite an experience at Hidden Canyon. It’s so hard to leave every time. See you next year!

Amazing lodge. We are return customers of many years. The view is phenomenal and only rivaled by the staff!! I think they have become my extended family. They remember every year that I only want PB&J for lunches. The cabins are large and well maintained. Cocktail hour is Special for swapping tall tales.

We had an amazing time at the lodge. Not only was it best rated the best fly fishing resort in Montana you can tell it carries that reputation just with the atmosphere and care given by the staff and the condition of the entire resort. Our time spent here was amazing and well spent and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get out on the river and fish or just get that remote vacation. I will be returning.
